"Follow Your Heart"

The 2016 “Follow Your Heart” Gala is a Huge Success

Over $212,000 raised to support The Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund

With the help of Chair William Grambley of CVS Health and Co-Chairs Kristin Fraser and John Murphy of KPMG the Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund hosted their annual Gala on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, R.I. The “Follow Your Heart” Gala (formally known as the “Heart & Soul Ball”) welcomed over 520 guests.

The evening began with a cocktail hour hosted by Tim Draper of Navigant Credit Union. The host of the evening was Mr. Jeffrey Cascione of Navigant Credit Union and a Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund Board Member. Assisting him for the night were junior emcees and Heart Heroes Joshua Jean-Louis, age 10, and Cooper Jenkins, age 12.

Including sponsorships, donations, ticket sales, silent & live auctions, and a “Open Your Hear” appeal the evening grossed over $212,000 making it a tremendous success. “With the support of our many sponsors, especially Navigant Credit Union, CVS Health, KPMG and ChemArt, donors, attendees, and volunteers, we are able to continue providing support to children and their families living with congenital heart defects, heart disease and severe feeding issues,” stated Co-Founder Louise Dinsmore.
