Louise Dinsmore is a highly successful and sought-after fundraiser who, through the course of her 20-year professional career, has assisted in raising over $45 million.  Louise has worked for some of the top education institutions and non-for-profit organizations in the state including University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island School of Design, and Women & Infants Hospital, and is currently the founder and principal fundraiser for Partners in Philanthropy, LLC.

Jeffrey Dinsmore is a Program Coordinator for the North American Family Institute in Rhode Island, a human services agency dedicated to serving youth, adults and families.  For over ten years, he has worked with young men and women with emotional and behavioral difficulties teaching them life and social skills.

Through Gabrielle’s Heart Camp, Louise and Jeff  have been able to turn  their pain into a passion-a passion to help provide a place for children with heart disease and defects to come and just be children. Gabrielle’s Heart Camp will help these children understand how special they truly are, not because of their heart disease, but because of who they can become.

The members of the 2017 Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund’s Board of Directors are a group of professional and intelligent individuals who are devoted to our mission and families.

Darlene Dubois is the Office Manager for the Heart & Hope Fund.  She is married to John and is the mother of two children, Jake and Jordyn Poirier.  Darlene came to know of the Gabrielle Dinsmore Heart & Hope Fund when her daughter was invited to the inaugural year of  Gabrielle’s Heart Camp, where she met Louise and Jeff Dinsmore.  After learning about Gabrielle, the mission Heart & Hope Fund and why Gabrielle’s Heart Camp was started, she committed herself to the mission and volunteered when needed.  Darlene joined the Heart & Hope Fund as a full-time employee in late December 2014.
